Pneumonia (PNE) Initiative

Working to reduce morbidity and mortality in patients admitted to Georgia hospitals with pneumonia. Approximately 600,000 Medicare patients are admitted annually in the United States for pneumonia. Pneumonia is also the reason for more than 500,000 emergency department visits.
