Rural Organizational Safety Culture (ROSC)

Increasing patient safety by assisting rural and critical access hospitals to develop resources and knowledge for conducting quality improvement projects is the goal of the Rural Organizational Safety Culture (ROSC) project.

Hospitals will promote an improved patient safety environment by assessing current culture and implementation of changes to improve leadership for quality, transparency, workplace stress, handling of mistakes and interdepartmental cooperation and communication.
