Children’s Intervention Services
The Children’s Intervention Services (CIS) program offers coverage for restorative and/or rehabilitation services to Medicaid eligible members from birth to twenty-one (21) years of age with physical disabilities or a developmental delay. Prior authorization (PA) of CIS services is required for services that exceed the service limitations established by the Department of Community Health. Requests for CIS services may be submitted via fax or mail. However, the most efficient method of submission is via the GHP web portal. Providers are also required by Department of Community Health (DCH) policy to submit additional supporting documentation. This additional documentation may be directly attached to the PA via the GMCF Web Site.
