Radiology Prior Authorization

Prior Authorization is required for imaging procedure codes in the areas of Obstetrical Ultrasound, PET Scans (Brain and Whole Body), CT Scans (Head and Pelvis/Abdomen), and MRI (Brain and Lumbar Spine).  The Web-based request entry process is similar to all other PA Web submissions currently in use by Georgia Medicaid Providers.

To accommodate additional training needs, Radiology PA training sessions have been recorded and are available for viewing.  To access the recorded session, you will be prompted to complete a registration page. (The registration information will be used to provide updates regarding future training sessions offered by GMCF.) Upon completion of the registration information, access will be granted to the WebEx file and viewer.  Instructions on how to download the WebEx file and viewer will be provided at that time.
