The American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer Resource Center provides answers to questions about the nature of cancer, its causes and risk factors, and also discusses the latest strategies for prevention, new diagnostic techniques, and the latest treatment options.
American College of Radiology (ACR)

The college is a nonprofit professional society whose primary purposes are to improve service to the patient, advance the science of radiology, study the socioeconomic aspects of the practice of radiology, and encourage continuing education for radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and persons practicing in allied professional fields.

Mammography Program
Established in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) to carry out the Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992 (MQSA). Site contains information about MQSA regulations, policy guidance, Mammography Matters newsletter and a list of FDA-certified facilities.
The Center For Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
National Medicare Mammography Campaign
Contains comprehensive information on Medicare programs, including publications in English and Spanish that can be viewed and downloaded. Reviews projects and initiatives and provides information on statistical data, laws and regulations.
National Cancer Institute (NCI)

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

As a national volunteer organization, the mission of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment. The Komen Foundation has a National Toll-Free Breast Care Help line that is answered by trained, caring volunteers whose lives have been personally touched by breast cancer. Armed with the latest breast health information, help line volunteers are committed to providing timely and accurate information to callers with breast health and breast cancer concerns.
