How can GMCF assist you?

GMCF is not affiliated with any Health Information Technology vendors. Our relationships are with physicians, not software companies. Our goal is to assist physician practices in the process of selecting the right technology that can best help improve clinical outcomes and patient safety. At GMCF, we realize there are many factors to consider when implementing HIT, including practice size, time and budget. Because GMCF wants your transition to HIT to be as smooth as possible.

GMCF is prepared to work with you and your office to:

• Educate your practice regarding possible HIT solutions
• Determine your HIT readiness
• Evaluate your needs from a HIT perspective
• Conduct a workflow analysis
• Identify which vendors might meet the needs of your practice

Once you receive responses from potential vendors, GMCF will:

• Assist you in evaluating which vendor offers the best solution for your practice
• Assist in educating your practice on "best practice" tips and techniques
• Identify training needs for your staff

GMCF will help with HIT implementation and work with your staff to provide assistance with workflow modifications and process redesign using HIT.

After implementation, GMCF will help:

• Identify modifications needed in your HIT
• Assist your practice in submitting and managing data to improve clinical outcomes

These services will be available to primary care physicians who are considering an EHR or who wish to expand the scope of an existing EHR.
